Located at the mouth of Howard Creek is a large sandy beach, which is recommended for long romantic walks along the shore.

Ten Mile Beach comprises approximately four and a half miles of long sandy beaches, beautiful rock formations in the surf and the Inglenook Fen-Ten Mile Dunes Natural Preserve, at the northernmost end of MacKERRICHER State Park. Wheelchair access is available on a wooden path that takes you to the ocean. Or go north along the Old Haul Road where you can jog, ride bikes or push baby strollers by the sea. Just north of Pudding Creek, Virgin Creek Beach is well known as a popular spot with local surfers because of its good break.

Glass Beach is an unique "Must See" that the kids will love! Many years ago there was a trash deposit in this cove where Elm Street meets the ocean. It's been gone for a long time, but what remains at the waters edge are lots of pieces of rounded ocean glass. The ocean waves splash on beautiful rocks in the water and it's a wonderful place to watch the sunset. Chances are, you have never seen anything like it, and it is relatively easy to get to.
